In the past few months I've been having the same conversation over and over — so I decided to address the recurring questions and have a short action page for 2026.

No Jets – Market Shortage

С прошлого года, когда я настоятельно рекомендовал всем желающим срочно покупать хорошие Embraer Legacy 600 и 650, Global 6000, Global 6500, Gulfstream G650ER и Global 7500 (я уж не говорю про новые G800 и тем более G700, которые даже тогда уходили максимум за неделю!), предрекая дефицит и рост цен, случилась не просто наглядная, а чрезмерно эффективная демонстрация. На рынке, где только недавно можно было разглядывать самолёты по полгода и торговаться начиная с мешка картошки, вдруг не оказалось ничего.

«Хотим хороший Global XRS, чтоб сзади был диван и два кресла, новый салон, небольшой налёт. Есть 10 миллионов».
«Ищем G650, не старше 2018 года. Бюджет 35 миллионов».
«Пришлите предложения на Global 6500. Не из Азии, 2–3-летний, не больше. Штуки три скиньте, мы посмотрим и решим».

Увы. Это было бы нормально в начале 2025 года. Но даже в его конце, а уж тем более сейчас, такие просьбы звучат как дурная шутка. Если появляется хороший самолёт (даже Global 5000 или Challenger 650, которые раньше могли стоять на рынке годами) они уходят настолько быстро, что с менталитетом-2025 ничего купить не получится.

Мои рекомендации

  • Знающий брокер всё равно что-то найдёт. Это будет даже не «офмаркет», а ещё вариант на этапе, когда сам владелец не решил, продавать ему или нет. Только подпишите мандат, чтобы была мотивация искать именно для вас в условиях этого ажиотажа.
  • Если вам предлагают хороший борт и говорят «вот есть один вариант, он вам подходит, и если не застолбить сейчас, через неделю его не будет» – верьте, что на этот раз всё правда так и есть.
  • Американцы очень быстрые. Для них покупка самолёта рутинное занятие, у них уже лежат депозиты на эскроу, просмотры и согласования документов занимают буквально дни. Поэтому берите с них пример – действуйте решительно, заранее положите депозит, заранее договоритесь со специализированным юристом и компанией, которая проведёт техническую проверку (брокер всё организует или предоставит сам).
  • И самое контринтуитивное: не удивляйтесь, если торг идёт вверх, а не вниз. На один борт вполне может быть 2–3 покупателя, причём чем дороже, тем больше интереса.

Since last year, when I strongly urged people not to miss good opportunities on Embraer Legacy 600 and Legacy 650 aircraft, Global 6000, Global 6500, Gulfstream G650ER, and Global 7500 (not even mentioning new G700 and G800, that even then would be gone in a week at most!), saying that by the end of the year there would be no good offers and prices are bound to go up, this not only did happen but went far beyond my warnings. It seems that just yesterday one could easily spend 6–9 months looking at an aircraft and offering next to nothing for it, and it would stay right there. Suddenly there was nothing.

"We want a good Global XRS with a divan and two seats in the aft cabin. Low hours, on engine programmes, recent inspections. We have 10 million."
"We're looking for a 3 or 4-zone G650, not older than 2018. Our budget is 35 million."
"Send us a few Global 6500 offers, just don't send ones from Asia or hot countries. 2–3 years old max. We'll take a look and decide."

Ha. Ha. Ha. What was absolutely the norm in 2025 now sounds like a stale joke. If a good plane hits the market (even a Global 5000 or Challenger 650, which nobody seemed to want before) they are gone so quickly that Buyer-2025 mentality isn't going to buy you anything.

A Few Pragmatic Steps to Success

  • A good broker will still find something. Not just "off market" – it might be an option that even the owner hasn't decided to sell yet, but it will be made available for you. But sign a mandate. There's no time to chase idle requests in a hot market like this.
  • If you get a good plane and it comes with a message saying, "here's one, and if you like it, let's make an offer asap because it will be gone in a week," it's not some tactic to make you feel agitated. It's probably true.
  • It's hard to compete with US buyers. Buying a business jet is routine for most of them. They have deposits in escrow, can view planes and approve wordings within days. If you really want a plane you'll have to act like them: keep a deposit in escrow, have a lawyer and tech representative ready to go (your broker either has them in-house or can connect you).
  • And counterintuitively: don't be surprised if negotiations lead to the price going up, not down. There may well be 2–3 buyers for the same aircraft. The bigger and newer the jet, the fiercer the competition (the hundreds of lucky and very affluent people looking for a just-delivered G700 – please contact me for practical advice, you will thank me forever).
